One Bedroom: Greenwich Village

I love this building...the street (at University), the lobby, the super- it really is welcoming. Impeccably maintained, this unit is almost 700sf and feels even bigger with an eat-in kitchen, ample foyer and well-sized living and bedrooms. It's gracious living at a reasonable price.

Use the black accents in the kitchen and in the windows to create that chic little place your aching to come home to every night, here's a few inspiratioins:

Second Stage: Greenwich Village

I haven't posted for quite a bit! With clients needing to move-in by the first and staging to be done (we'll call it sprucing) for a one bedroom coop coming up for sale in Greenwich Village on 19th Street. Here's what I did for the latter...it's a cheap fix, rearranging existing furnishings and decorative accessories to make it look like a home, just a bit more designed. The bench that held plants and a model ship under the window became a coffee table, the bookshelf was revamped to give a sense of symmetry and order... focusing the eye on the artwork we curated down, the extra chair in the living room and a painting were moved into the dining area to activate the corner, bedding and pillows in the bedroom flipped and stacked (respectively) to create better lines from a distance. See for yourself:

Love. VSF: Greenwich Village

As you walk along West 10th from Bleecker, I defy you not to be stopped by the flowers in VSF's window. They are exactly what the tasteful and quietly elegant New Yorker looks for in flowers- no tricks, just beautiful and sculptural flowers at the peak of their beauty. Stop by, the bouquet of acorns against the creamy roses stopped me in my tracks...if your eyes just rolled, trust me, they'd get you too!

Keep it Clean: Greenwich Village

I love walking into apartments with wonderful city views and would love to see them decorated to accentuate that special perspective- keeping it simple and monochromatic is an stand-by option. Soothing and clean, the cream or white monochromatic home frames the view like the amazing work of art that it is. There is a wonderful one bedroom in Greenwich Village that serves as this entry's inspiration: doorman, views, space and seperate kitchen...it's got it all! Come see, you'll want to build your home around it's cityscape.

Window Shop

I love the blocks between Christopher between Waverly Place and Greenwich Avenue...it's one of those quiet, little city "moments" where you can lose yourself. Love the shoes, the chair and the store...
